Video demonstration of attitude controller



HCUAV should, as any long range - medium altitude UAV, have the option to be controlled in real-time by a human operator, as well as other autonomous modes. Both Fly-by-Wire and Autonomous modes require an attitude stabilization system on-board the aircraft, as the latency of the communications link makes direct piloting from a ground station impossible. To that goal, an attitude controller algorithm was developed, for attitude stabilization and disturbance rejection.

 You can see a demonstration of the performance of the attitude controller under several maneuvers which are common in the mission profile.
